As part of the Digital Competencies of Nursing Students (DigiCONS) project, funded by the RGU Research Impact Accelerator, the Laboratory of Information Technologies at Ionian University hosted a three three-day international workshop, on ‘Advancing Digital Competencies in Nursing Education’. Held from 21-23 October 2025, the event brought together academic partners from the Ionian University (Greece), Robert Gordon University (Scotland), Lisbon Nursing School (Portugal), and the Hellenic Mediterranean University (Greece). The workshop explored the evolving role of digital and AI skills in nursing education through collaborative sessions and strategic planning for further collaborative research.
Themes across the three days focused on showcasing progress and establishing a shared vision, designing and implementing future-focused digital strategies and planning for impact and long-term roadmap development.
