Dr. Konstantina Martzoukou

Dr Dr Konstantina Martzoukou is Associate Professor and Senior Fellow of Advanced HE in the UK. She has previously built successful interdisciplinary research collaborations that focus on digitally innovative and inclusive communities and societies. With the ‘Digital Literacy’ project she led research to drive the development of digital competences among students in different discipline areas. She has internationally excellent impactful project outputs and highly ranked published research, ensuring inclusive digital skills development. Her research portfolio in information and digital literacy skills is recognised externally (e.g., the official statement on digital literacy of IFLA and UNESCO’s ‘Overview of Information Literacy resources Worldwide’.

Dr. Errol Luders

Dr Errol Luders, BA in Maths, MSc, MBA, MA, PhD. Errol is Online Learning Developer in SNMPP for 10 years. He has a HEA Senior Teaching Fellowship (2023, RGU) and a PhD degree in E-research & Technology Enhanced Learning (2019, Lancaster University). His PhD focus was around multimodality of online assessment feedback in teaching-learning experiences relating to digitalised summative assessment activities and overall student satisfaction. As lead contact for the ongoing digital literacy project, he has published in this area collaboratively with the research team.

Emma Hay-Higgins

Emma Hay-Higgins is a Lecturer within the School of Health at Robert Gordon University (RGU), with a background in Specialist Community Public Health Nursing.  She has been the Nursing Route Lead for the MSc Advancing Practice and teaches across the MSc Healthcare Leadership and MSc Advanced Practice Pathways developing expertise in online education. She co-led the initiative to enable RGU to become the first university in Scotland to receive the UNICEF Baby Friendly Initiative Gold award.  Emma’s academic and professional interests centre on digital transformation. She is dedicated to supporting multidisciplinary postgraduate and upskilling students in understanding the essential digital capabilities required for contemporary, person-centred practice through leading a “Digital Literacy in Health and Social Care module”. Emma is NMC Registrant, Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) and holds a Masters in Nursing (Clinical Research), PgCert Learning Teaching and Assessment, BSc (Hons) Public Health Nursing and BN (Hons) Adult Nursing.

Professor Andreia Silva da Costa

Escola Superior de Enfermagem de Lisboa, Lisbon, Portugal. Professor Andreia Silva da Costa holds a PhD in Nursing and MSc in Public Health and is a Full Professor at the Nursing School of Lisbon  She is the ESEL Reacher Unit Coordinator, CIDNUR, and also a researcher in CIDNUR/ISAMB within public health, health literacy, and social prescribing, WHO consultant, health policy expert, and coordinator of international projects on health systems and health promotion.

Professor Tiago Nascimento, PhD

With a PhD in Management, his academic and research interests focus on community health nursing, public health education, and the development of evidence-based practices that promote health equity and social inclusion. Tiago is actively involved in interdisciplinary projects that bridge clinical practice and community engagement, and he contributes to the advancement of nursing education through innovative teaching methodologies and curriculum development.

Dr Kostagiolas (ORCID: 0000-0001-8974-1128) is Professor of “Information Services Management”. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Birmingham, U.K. and he has published his work in leading international journals. He has been co-author of four management books in Greek and author of a book in English on information seeking behaviour published in Chandos-Elsevier publisher.

Dr. George Kritsotakis

Associate Professor in Health Care Management, Public Health, and Social Epidemiology at the Department of Business Administration and Tourism, Hellenic Mediterranean University (HMU. Faculty member in the MSc in Health Services Administration at the Hellenic Open University, providing lectures as a visiting professor at multiple universities in Greece and abroad (Europe and Africa). Dr Kritsotakis holds an MA in Health Education and Health Promotion from the UCL Institute of Education, University of London, and a PhD from the Department of Social Medicine, Medical School, University of Crete. Dr Kritsotakis has published around 49 papers in international and national peer-reviewed journals (e.g., Social Science & Medicine, European Journal of Public Health, International Journal of Nursing Studies), most recently focusing on the intersection of epidemiology and health services research
